Asbestos abatement was completed at the end of 2008. Two wings were removed in 2009 to provide better access to the remainder of the building and expand parking space.
Building construction and renovation for the therapy pool and spa and mechanical room was completed in spring, 2010. On May 5, a dedication ceremony celebrated the opening of the Ron & Janie Nirk Therapy Pool and Spa. View our archived materials here.
In December, final renovations were completed with remodeled and expanded locker rooms, a new family changing room and an expanded and improved exercise area.
