Laboratory testing can indicate many things and in most cases can help diagnose a disease or condition.
We are proud to offer state-of-the-art lab testing on site. Ninety percent of the tests ordered are done at Gritman, leaving very few samples that need to be sent out. This is a cost and time savings to you.
Unless otherwise requested, a copy of your lab results will be sent to your doctor, where you will access the results. If you would like a copy of the results, you must sign a release of authorization. If you would like to get results over the phone, you must have a password. This password can be assigned at the time your sample is taken.
Lab services are available to those without insurance or who are not covered for a particular test, through our Community Wellness Panel. These tests are patient-requested rather than physician-ordered and the results go directly to you. Payment is required at the time of service, but the tests or screenings are discounted.
Gritman works closely with the Inland Northwest Blood Center (INBC) to provide blood products to our patients. Gritman hosts a monthly blood drive to help replenish the local blood supply. Check our Calendar of Events for the date of the next drive.
